I have been interested in IT for a long time now. It wasn't until I did some research into Emergency Management and GIS that I became very interested in the application of GIS and found a number of significant issues that need to be dealt with.

I have recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in the Arts (GIS) through Massey University.

I am a Director of Kestrel Group - a Risk and Emergency Management consultancy company.

I am the South Island Vice-President of the NZ Recreational GPS Society.
